Quilt Determination

Made this quilt with Mom after she achieved her lifelong goal of taking a missionary trip to Ghana, Africa!

When Mom accomplished her goal of finally taking a mission trip to Africa where she and her group delivered school supplies and medication, I told her we would make a quilt upon her return. When she purchased the fabric, the Ghanian sales ladies told her she was not buying enough fabric but I had told her to buy one yard of each type! She said she had a hard time convincing them that she was, indeed buying enough!
